Hi and welcome to my site! I currently work at Digital Science, where I help organizations optimize their research strategy using AI-powered tools and data insights.

Previously, I spent over 10 years driving open data initiatives at Figshare after starting my career in academic publishing. I sometimes write about FAIR data principles, research infrastructure, and treating data as a first-class research object.

A curious traveler and food enthusiast, when I'm not thinking about metadata, I can usually be found dad-ing, running a beer league hockey team, or riding my bike around New Haven, Connecticut, where I live with my family.
